HISTORICAL PROFILE The Modulmec Ingranaggi was established in 1979 as an artisan company. It was introduced into the market context as a firm at the service of the mechanics industry, performing in the sector of precision mechanics. The fulcrum of its production is, from the beginning, the construction of toothed wheels. Over the years the company has transformed, assuming today the features of a small industry both in its dimension and in its organization. STAFF The staff is composed of 18-20 people, all highly specialised in the sector. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE The lay-out is structured in five departments through which it can carry out a vast range of performances. Concerning the internal organization, in July 1999 the Modulmec Ingranaggi reached the target of the ISO 9002 certificate with the Certification Authority TUV PFALZ. During the following months, internal organization had been modified according to the EN ISO 9001:2000 norms and this new kind of certification had been obtained on november 2003 with the same Certification Authority TUV PFALZ. TYPOLOGY OF PRODUCTION The Modulmec Ingranaggi is structured to construct, on request of the customer, mechanic details inherent in the transmission of motion (for example: gears, crowns, worm screws, racks, cams also with variable pitch, complete reducers). Thanks to its very flexible structure and organization, the Modulmec Ingranaggi is particularly competitive for the execution of samplings and for the construction of details in lots of medium-small size. Furthermore the Modulmec Ingranaggi can guarantee complete supplies of details with highly elaborated production cycles, also including external manufacturing phases (for example: heat treatments). For these productions, our firm deals only with qualified suppliers. SERVICES OFFERED The Modulmec Ingranaggi, through its technical bureau and the technology at its disposal, can develop whatever type of drawing, starting from a sample from the customer. It can provide whatever kind of certification concerning its own production. Furthermore the company can give technical-projectual advices about the details it manufactures.
